Experience
Hi there! My name is Mary Catherine and I am from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I am a junior at Princeton, majoring in physics. I have spent my past two summers interning at NASA Jet Propulsion Lab and MIT Lincoln Lab. Next summer, I will intern at Amazon as a program manager. In high school, I was the founder and president of the Girls Who Code Club. Many of my high school successes stemmed from my strong interest in physics, specifically quantum computing. In high school, I worked on three research projects. I took two of these projects to multiple international science fair competitions. I won fourth place in the category of physics at the 2018 ISEF. Additionally, I received three special awards at the 2017 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) and a bronze medal at the 2017 International Sustainable Worlds Project Olympiad (I-SWEEEP). I was also a finalist at the 2017 National Junior Sciences and Humanities Symposium. I presented two of my research projects at multiple international research conferences, one of them being in Toulouse, France. Aside from these extra-curricular activities, I love visual arts, especially animating. I cannot wait to meet all of you!
